Sunrisers Hyderabad almost failed to deliver their best this season of the Indian Premier League. He played a total of eight matches with three wins to his name. They lost five matches and are ranked 5th in the points table. They were defeated by Chennai Super Kings in their recent match by a margin of 20 runs
Sandeep Sharma was the only successful and best-performing player for SRH, taking two wickets for just 19 runs in his four overs. Khalil Ahmed took two wickets in the last match but he scored a lot.
T Natarajan was the second bowler to score a lot of runs and also take wickets. He took three wickets for 41 runs in his four overs. Rashid Khan failed to take any wicket in the last match. He was dismissed for 30 runs in his four overs. Shahbaz Nadeem also failed to take any wicket for 29 runs in his four overs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad could have easily won the previous match but lost the match and the reason for SRH’s poor batting order. He failed to chase a target of 168 runs and was able to score 147 runs in 20 overs. For him, Kane Williamson was the most successful and highest run-scorer with a few runs on the board. He scored 57 (39) with the help of seven fours.
Johnny Bairstow was the other batsman to score some runs on the board. He scored 23 (24) and hit two fours. Priyam Garg scored 16 runs while Rashid Khan scored 14 runs. Rashid Khan hit a four and a six during the innings.
He could score 12 runs. SRH’s big names failed to score in the last match. Captain David Warner, Manish Pandey, Priyam Garg and Johnny Bairstow could not score some big runs. David Warner could score only nine runs, while Manish Pandey had four runs to his name.
Kolkata Knight Riders
The Kolkata Knight Riders had an average performance so far this season of the IPL T20.
They are ranked 4th on the points table. He suffered a heavy defeat against Mumbai Indians by a beautiful margin of eight wickets in his recent match.
Their top order almost failed to perform well in the last match. Pat Cummins was the most successful and highest run-scorer for his side who did not get out even after scoring 53 (36) runs and hit five fours and two sixes. Captain Eoin Morgan was the second batsman from KKR to score some runs on the board. He was not out scoring 39 (29) and hit two fours and as many sixes. Shubman Gill scored 21 runs in the last match. No other batsman from his side could score some big runs on the board. Nitish Rana scored five runs while Rahul Tripathi scored 7 runs and Dinesh Karthik scored just four runs.
Like batting, the bowling unit of Kolkata Knight Riders also failed to deliver their best performance in the previous match. They failed to defend low targets on the board. He was charged with a target of 149 runs in 16.5 overs. Varun Chakraborty was the only successful bowler from his side, taking one wicket for 23 runs in his four overs. Shivam Mavi also had a good performance in the last match. He took one wicket in his four overs, while 24 runs were taken from him. No other bowler from his side could take any wicket in the last match. Chris Green, Pat Cummins, Prasidh Krishna and Andre Russell were the bowlers on his side who failed to take any wickets.
